Wayra and PayPal reach a collaboration agreement to boost the e-commerce of startups

The startups that have formed part of the Wayra acceleration programme will now benefit from better conditions for the implementation of electronic payment solutions together with PayPal.

Wayra and PayPal, the world's leading company in internet payments, have signed an agreement to promote support initiatives for startups and entrepreneurs of the acceleration programme, offering better conditions for the use of its payment gateway to all the "accelerated" companies.

The agreement establishes that the startups accelerated by Wayra around the world, which now total over one hundred and eighty companies in eleven countries, will benefit from better rates and exclusive commissions from PayPal during a period of one year. In this way, they will be able to strengthen their options and payment channels for electronic commerce transactions, vital in order to be able to charge their customers for their services and/or products.
